So the f100. I have had it since 96 and drove it to high school where I discovered body work. This lead me to Greenville tech where I painted it the day of my final exams. I drove it for a few years and got distracted with mini trucks so the f100 kinda sat while I learned about air ride and enjoyed the fuel mileage of the mini truck. Now that I had practice with suspension and frames back to the ford. This is the day one photo I was super proud to have this as my first ride.
Oh did I mention how body work came in to play. I had a guy pull out in front of me and this happened. The truck isn’t getting painted actually on a rim so it sits level. I had to replace the frame.
That thing is awesome, the purple reminds me of my Crown Spoyal build.
What is that rear suspension setup? Three link?

The front is a porterbuilt drop member for a c10. I chose that one because there was no f100 options at the time and I wanted the c10 5 on 5 patter for wheel options. The rear is a wishbone 3 link I designed and cut at my friends rod shop, Maybin concepts. Have all new stuff air ride wise for it I am just running old stuff that still works until the appropriate time. I have cad criss 8xl billet manifold and billet switches, air lift guages, air lift dominator bags and 2 485c viair compressors ready to go on. Also I have aluminaughty customer billet mirrors. I may have spelled the name wrong. The truck is being built for some 22x9 and 22x12 wheels. The frame is also built by me with 2x4 3/16 square tube. The fire wall is a design slosh tubz is working on. I got it for some r and d work.
Good call on the c10 front suspension. There is a ton of options out there when it comes to c10’s. I think most use Crown Vic stuff on the Fords right?
Most use the cv cause it’s cheap tons available for it and it does work. I wanted a narrower front for deeper dish wheels and to be able to steer when basically laid out. The 70ish Camaro front suspension is another great option. Also soulless Scott’s rods and some other out there have some good options now. I also left like 4 percent of a c10 frame so I can unbolt the drop member should I decide to upgrade or just change it out later. There is one percent f100 frame cause I didn’t feel like making bumper mounts lol.
