I hope so. From what I have seen the fmx tans with. 351c is about the same size. It’s still a front sump also. So I have some wild card factors. I don’t know if I’ll ever swap it to Modern engine and trans but I have room to hopefully work on it. Would be nice to have an engine and trans to see.
a little more open view I did open up the area at the bell housing more so I could reach the bolts from under the truck
I also tossed these jc whitney mounts for a smoother more original ones. Taking care of rust and damage from over 26 years ago
New update I found the elusive new 67 one year only grill for my truck and decided to redo the tailgate. Worst case I’ll get a new one but there is so much potential I could do here.
What’s the plan for the tailgate? A recessed Ford logo?
Still in the thought process on that. The tailgate being warped and the bad shave job I did years ago was bothering me. So I started and I will figure out as I go. Any ideas? Kinda thought about having an aluminum plate over it also with something in it.
I also removed the roll pan. I need to repair some rust behind it. I’ll be reusing it, kinda found of the fact it was a bed rail for my parts truck years ago.
So not much changed with the truck at this time, I took care of some body work and new parts ordered. I may circle back on the tailgate but with life being so busy I have 2 new fenders ordered and a tailgate. The tailgate idea kinda snake balled and I changed direction for now.
