“Stock” floor s10

So here is another project. 1995 s10 this is where the most of my fav skill came from. It’s stock floor body dropped with caddy tails shaved door handles, shaved roll pan ,suicide doors and air bags for a dump bed.

It has had an evolution of changes. And different suspension designs all on air. Before I body dropped it, would do a nice rolling three wheel. I was very careful no to warp my panels wheel welding them I even welded a piece of angle to help keep it place. Just trying out ideas. I had a 3 link wish bone suspension on the rear suspension I wasn’t happy with. The bars were to short and with a leavers bag set up the geometry was all wrong when lifted. So I decided to redo it and also tackled the frame. I also

Kinda hard to see but I sectioned the frame and brought the top down about three inches. I added 2x3 1/4 tub in side this gave me the strength needed and I do have to completely make new mounts. I had the normal seat height inside and lost an inch at my freet and I had to do a drive shaft tunnel. I did a triangle 4 link and was very happy with it. I also upgraded to 20s and I was able to modify the original arms to lay on the ground and get full lift.

I also semi painted with a bunch of free paint I mixed together before I upgraded to 20s. The pictures of me beside the truck was literally the first drive and I was so proud. Mainly because after extending all the wires it still started. You know how many wires they are in these trucks??!!! To many lol also here is my fist time using an English wheel to make an air cleaner and the rear bed dump set up

Here are the final pictures. The air brush work was done my my friend who has unfortunately passed since then the sub box is mostly fiber glass and painted and I even built a soap box car to do some racing with at a car show. From the time I bagged it until the time I sold it. I drove 120k miles on air ride. I literal drove it everywhere.

Oh I also forgot to mention the hood was stock except for a bubble I made into the hood to clear one part of the engine and that air cleaner also helped.

The Cadi tail lights set that thing off. Nice work!

Thank you that means a lot. One of my friends was always there helping me with my truck. So when he asked for the same tail lights i did better on his lol. He was concerned about it being the same but I was happy to do it. His truck had a 4/5 drop on it.

We also eventually painted it too. Who knows where these trucks are now.
